18:00 CET: The city of Mariupol is surrounded by Russian forces, but has not yet fallen. The Marine Commander in Mariupol Maj Serhiy Volyna said that they may have hours left. Deputy Mayor Sergei Orlov had asked for a humanitarian corridor to evacuate 6,000 people from the Azovstal metal works plant, but only a few dozen have boarded a small convoy of buses.
