The battle for Bakhmut has been going on for more than six months. Wagner Group has been storming the city, but Ukrainian forces have not surrendered. There are only a few ways to get food, ammunition, and reinforcements into Bakhmut – and take the wounded out of the city. Meduza explains what's happening on these “roads of life,” in English.
