Bakhmut eight months later…

Today’s instalment to E-Stories Video Library is about Bakhmut, the bloodiest battle in Ukraine that has been raging for over eight months. I remember Stefania Battistini’s comment at the beginning: “This is the most important battle for the survival of Ukraine.” She was at the front at that time and its significance was already clear.

I’ll be posting an article about the battle of Bakhmut on April 12.

#Bakhmut today: the city holds for 8 months, 1 week and 1 day.

Bakhmut- the “Ukrainian fortress of Donbas”- now on the line of fire, 70% of the city, for which the Ukrainian and Russian forces are fighting ferociously, has been destroyed. Before the invasion of Putin’s Russian orcs, there were more than 70,000 people living there.
