Russia weaponsises everything…

In the summer, I had begun to write about how Russia weaponises everything (the weaponisation of everything) from propaganda to energy, to education and the end of life and everything in between. Every single aspect of life is treated as a possible vector to get a message across or to attack and control an enemy. Nothing is excluded.

The thought came as I read Sergej Sumlenny’s long thread about the weaponisation of literature, which he expanded into an article, “Comrade Hitler and other Russian fantasties” for CEPA. Mark Galeotti and Dina Khapaeva have also written about how Russian publishers and those in power re-write history for the needs of the current regime.
