Ukraine's independence day. Incredible how many people feel its significance now. How many people on this land can't imagine themselves without this independence. How fragile freedom is, and how meaningful it is when you need to fight for it, and not just take it as a gift.
#HappyIndependenceDay #Ukraine. The Declaration of Independence was proclaimed by the Verkhovna Rada in 1991. Images show people celebrating independence and campaigning for it. Note Ukrainian people used their fingers to made the sign of Ukraine's trident emblem.
