“Georgia has one of the most capacious RICO statutes in the country. The state’s legislature enacted it specifically to “apply to an interrelated pattern of criminal activity” and mandated courts to “liberally construe” it to protect the state and its citizens from harm. “---

Ironically, Giuliani claims to be the authority for the use of the RICO statute, claiming he knows more about it than anyone else alive. Unfortunately for Giuliani, like most of his career that was built on lies and embellishments, he’s proven to be a shameless, self promoter. A man of like Trump, whose all “Pomp, and no circumstance.”

That said, it was actually a law professor from Cornell University, Robert Blakey, who first conceived of the RICO statute while working as the chief counsel for a committee; drafting the Organized Crime Control Act of 1970. One of Blakey’s former colleagues on the Organized Crime Task Force in NY, brought it to Giuliani, after Giuliani was appointed US Attorney for the SDNY.

Bottom line: Giuliani is about to get his comeuppance. The man who claims to be the father of RICO, will be prosecuted by the very same statute.

It’s poetic Justice: live by the sword, die by the sword!...:)
