It’s not the best indicator of what Russians are thinking because of the closed nature of the information space, and the need for citizens to align with the authorities in public. Nonetheless there may be some information we can glean from the numbers. In the last Levada Centre poll, the majority of citizens, especially older Russians, were in line with the regime. It would be great to speak with Dina about this and get her views.
